.083 Sara Snyder
If you’re looking for a powerful woman, one who opens doors in her industry and beyond with pure tenacity and deep gratitude for all those who came before her, then look no further. Sara has always been an inspiring figure in my life, truly since the moment we met. I was a freshman in college (eek) and to me, she was a shining example of working your ass off to achieve your dreams, not taking “no” for an answer, and being compassionate along the way. She’s not afraid to speak her worth and that healthy confidence is what invites others to be the same; proud of who they are and determined to make a dent in the universe.
By trade, Sara is a magical video director and producer. If you’ve ever seen her work, it’s obvious that it’s hers because of the deep empathy and true storytelling that radiate from the screen. She’s a wonderful listener and knows and respects the power of active listening. As a friend, Sara is equally as kind and good-hearted. She’s absolutely hilarious and has the most contagious energy that lifts you up and feels almost as if you’ve just had a cup of coffee. Through her actions and honestly, just her existence, Sara motivates you to keep going and to work harder. She’s supportive and helpful, and extremely thoughtful with everything she does and sets her mind to. One of the things I love most about her is her sheer honesty, with herself and others, and the fact that she never backs down from a challenge.
Sara, thank you so much for being a role model to me and my life since the very beginning. Thank you for practicing what you preach in regard to treating others with dignity and respect, and gratitude. Thank you for being such an example of getting up after you’ve been knocked down, and for always leading with genuine positivity. Thank you for our conversation and for allowing others to grow because of your vulnerability and openness. I’m so very grateful for our friendship and can’t wait to see what you do next. Thank you, Sara, for being you.
