.123 Sharon Savoca-Mahin

By all accounts, Sharon and I probably should never have met. In fact, we only met a few months ago, in the midst (and depths) of me being furloughed and trying to find a purpose and work in this chaotic mess of a year. A friend of mine told me about a virtual summit that was being planned and that the NY group might need some assistance. A few days later, there I was on a Zoom call with Sharon; an incredibly outgoing, energetic and compassionate businesswoman and human being.

I’m extremely grateful to have met Sharon when I did. She was instantly encouraging, using her expertise in knowing people and relationships to seek out my strengths and build me up. She reminded me of my confidence and skills and perhaps most importantly, she believed in me. It sounds cheesy, but I mean it. Each time we spoke I felt a bit more energized and excited for the project and the future.

Sharon, thank you for being such a positive woman who’s filled with such energy and life and who doesn’t take life too seriously. Thank you for taking me under your wing for those months and for still checking in and looking toward what’s possible, as opposed to what isn’t. Thank you for your support, for making me laugh (always), and for so clearly caring so deeply about those in your life. Thank you, Sharon, for being you.
