.200 Erin Flannery

Any day that I saw Erin while working at the museum was a good one. She brings such a fun and refreshing perspective and energy everywhere she goes and she treats people with dignity and respect in the process. There is no ego with Erin — she’s who she is, and you are who you are. She’s honest, clear, and certainly one of my favorites.

When I say that Erin brought me joy while working at the museum, I really mean it. She was such a delight to see around the halls, to work with, to be with in meetings, and to learn from. She brings music to the museum (literally) in so many ways, and her ideas and execution are both something I’m grateful to have witnessed. More than all of this, she’s just real. She’s direct and empathetic and allows for fun to happen during the day to day.

Erin, thank you for being such a treasure to have worked with and become friends with. Thank you for being someone I can talk to openly and someone who I can trust. Thank you for the important work that you do and perhaps more importantly, for always sticking up for artists, especially when they might be facing the machine. Thank you for being so kind and joyful. Thank you, Erin, for being you.
