.243 Henry Moore

When I first met Henry, I had this instant sort of feeling that we would connect and be great friends. He was incredibly charming and easy to talk to, and within a few weeks he became my great grand-little in our fraternity. Henry’s strong sense of himself and his infectious ambition and drive really gave me a newfound energy at a time when it was so needed and welcome.

It also didn’t take very long for me to realize that Henry has a wonderful sense of humor, and joking back and forth with him is one of my favorite things. He’s so witty, wildly intelligent, and always game to laugh. He’s honest with himself and those around him, and I have always appreciated his deep sincerity and compassion for everyone in life. He appreciates the little things and finds awe and wonder in the space around him. He’s also incredibly tuned in to cooking and the value of good food, which I admire about him. Perhaps above all is Henry’s loyalty and trustworthiness, which are front and center in a way that is both inviting and inspiring.

Henry, thank you so much for always making me laugh and for being a true joy to spend time with. Thank you for our outrageously fun journey through Australia/NZ together and for being the source of so many of my favorite memories. Thank you for always being down for an adventure and for having such a respectful and big heart. Thank you for never being afraid to be honest and straightforward, and thank you also for your kindness and support of me and my projects and wacky ideas; always. Thank you for being a truly good human being and for being in my life. Thank you, Henry, for being you.
