.050 Courtney Osit
What do you get when you mix an absolute bad ass wearing a tweed jacket, ordering a Plymouth martini, slightly dirty, extra olives, with an undeniably kind and phenomenal personality? Why yes, the answer is indeed Courtney Osit. We first met just about a year ago, and I remember thinking that she truly has the perfect mixture of an unreal work ethic that makes for incredible experiences and events, and the ability to not take life too seriously. We met through work, but (of course) I immediately wanted to be friends.
During my first weeks/months at The Center, I worked/emailed/called frantically with Courtney and she never once lost her innate patience and compassion. She is someone who sees everything, from the big picture effects and the smallest details that no one else thinks of. Nothing slips through the cracks under her watch, and better yet, if there is a mistake, she owns it, solves it, learns from it, and teaches those around her without even trying. I have been in constant awe of her professionalism that is built from true diligence, a complete disinterest in accolades, and deep passion for building moments and bringing them to life. Put simply, she’s an expert, and I am so lucky to have been able to work together with her during my short time at The Center, pre-pandemic/furlough (lol).
Courtney, thank you so much for teaching me so much in such a short amount of time, and likely not even knowing you were doing so, because it’s just in your nature to do good, talented work. Thank you for always being so refreshing and fun to be around, both in and out of the “office.” Thank you for your outrageously joyful laugh that kills me every time. Thank you for the late night jokes and craziness with MASQ and WE, and for always being able to answer my questions. Thank you for our wonderful evening of (never too many) deviled eggs and for entertaining my ridiculous stories and humor. Thank you for inspiring everyone around you by just being yourself. Thank you for being you.
